Kathy M. Sephton
Managing Partner
Kathy began her career in the insurance industry in 1980 as an Underwriter Trainee with a national carrier and quickly advanced, assuming management positions with several large insurance companies, where she gained first hand experience hiring and building high-functioning teams in multiple disciplines including underwriting, marketing and branch office management.
She has successfully guided the start-up of a branch office and directed hiring during mergers of company operations. As a result Kathy has an in-depth, first-hand understanding of the recruiting process and the necessary industry skill sets needed for a variety of positions.
Kathy recruits individuals in all functional areas, including underwriting, marketing, loss control, claims and agency/broker account executives. She holds special expertise in placing commercial underwriting and marketing positions.
Kathy attended Florida State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Risk Management. She completed her CPCU designation in 1998 and is up to date with all insurance industry current issues.
Carol E. Spurlock
Managing Partner
Carol entered the insurance industry more than 20 years ago as a Commercial Lines Underwriter and quickly moved into the broker ranks taking on a variety of marketing, account executive roles at national property and casualty brokerage firms. There, her responsibilities ranged from program development and market relations to corporate strategic planning.
Through the years Carol developed expertise in hiring and managing high-performing teams responsible for developing in-depth property/casualty programs for commercial clients. Most recently Carol was with a national broker handling a variety of functions within the middle market segment of the company.
Carol is a seasoned insurance professional whose experience with the recruiting and hiring process has given her a unique understanding of the various skill sets required in the industry. She specializes in recruiting top executives in all functional areas.
Carol is a native of Atlanta, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Risk Management from the University of Georgia.
